Buckingham Welcomes Matt Lesher as CFO

Buckingham Companies has appointed Matt Lesher as Chief Financial Officer.

In this role, Lesher leads Buckingham's accounting, finance, and construction functions, overseeing the financial strategy and operational foundation that supports the firm's real estate development, construction, and investment platform.

Lesher brings 23 years of experience across finance, real estate, and manufacturing operations, with a track record spanning capital markets, financial strategy, and organizational leadership. He has worked closely with executive teams, lenders, and capital partners, guiding financial reporting, capital formation, and operational performance across complex, multi-entity organizations.

His background includes senior financial leadership roles in both real estate and manufacturing, as well as experience as a chief executive, providing a comprehensive understanding of both strategic decision-making and underlying operational execution. Most recently, Lesher served as Chief Executive Officer of Stakkd Co., an integrated industrial development and racking platform serving the supply chain and automated warehouse industry. Before that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Browning Real Estate Partners, where he capitalized over $400 million in development and investment projects across industrial, multifamily, office, and mixed-use real estate. Earlier in his career, he served as President of Small Parts, Inc., leading operations across four manufacturing facilities in the US and Mexico.

Lesher holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington.
