We founded Buckingham Foundation in 2006 to create a positive change in affordable housing, community and economic development, as well as arts and culture.

Our team members care about their communities. Numbers and statistics are integral to our business as real estate professionals, but these are the numbers that we're most proud of each year.

Buckingham employees volunteer over 7,000 hours each year and contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars to over 50 different organizations.

2021 IMPACT

Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity Women Build

Creating positive change in affordable housing is at the core of Buckingham Foundation’s mission, making its involvement in the Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity Women Build a natural partnership. By supporting the annual Women Build with funding and hands-on labor, Buckingham Foundation helps engage hundreds of women to build homes for deserving families. Once in a Habitat house, homeowners can save money, invest in education, pursue opportunities and have increased financial stability. The need for affordable homeownership continues to grow in our community and the Women Build is tackling this challenge in full force.

Buckingham Day of Service

One of Buckingham’s favorite days of the year – the Annual Day of Service. It’s a day when all of our offices and sites close down so the many hands across our communities can build boldly together, cleaning neighborhoods, constructing classrooms, improving accessibility and more. Where one hand can only pack so many meals or hammer so many nails, uniting groups of volunteers, organizers, partners and resources build impact, momentum and real differences for those being served. It’s a rewarding effort that perfectly harmonizes with Buckingham’s dedication to community service.

Buckingham Food Pantry at George Buck Elementary

In partnership with Gleaners Food Bank, the Buckingham Food Pantry at Arlington Middle School was created to help relieve some of the stress with food insecurity. Buckingham supports the pantry through monthly grants and volunteer opportunities. Over the partnership’s four years, we have served over 86,000 pounds of food and supported 5,300 individuals.
