​INDIANAPOLIS—Buckingham Companies, an Indianapolis‐based full service, fully integrated, real estate company has promoted Scott Travis to Senior Vice President, Development. In his new role, Travis will serve as the development leader in sourcing and managing new projects and strategic partnerships in the mixed‐use and student housing real estate sectors throughout the United States.

For the past two years, Travis has led Buckingham’s most complex and prominent project, CityWay. Prior to his current position, Travis was Senior Development Executive, Buckingham Companies; Director of Design and Pre‐Construction, White Lodging Corporation; and Vice President of Development, White Lodging Corporation. During his career, Travis has led development efforts of more than $2.4 billion in investments and the construction of more than $800 million in new construction with a focus on residential and hospitality development. Travis served honorably in the United States Navy, and he holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Ball State University.
