Buckingham Companies was honored on October 27th in Indianapolis with two prestigious awards at the Midwest Multifamily Conference sponsored by the Indiana Apartment Association. Scott Sladek, Executive Vice President accepted the awards at the President’s Awards Dinner at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
The first award was presented for Best Renovation Project, in recognition of the renovation and rebranding of Gramercy in Carmel, Indiana. Buckingham recently completed this 3 year project transforming the grounds, amenities, exterior structures, and interiors of 548 units.

The second award was presented for Spirit of Giving, which recognizes outstanding achievements, significant impact and community commitment to provide service to those in need. This award was granted due to the powerful results of Buckingham’s work with the <3INDY campaign and the Buckingham Food Pantry, including donation of 5+ tons of donated food, over 8500 hours of volunteer service, and $215,000 in donations to 260 nonprofit organizations.
