The Ainsworth, billed as a "high-end sports bar," will open in Midtown on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

The restaurant and bar will be located at 206 21st Ave. S. in Aertson Midtown.

Relatedly, Ainsworth parent company Paige Hospitality Group, which is based in New York City, has announced that former Hermitage Hotel executive sous chef Joey Ray will serve The Ainsworth as executive chef. Garrett Tuttle, formerly manager at Kayne Prime, will be the restaurant’s general manager. William Hall will serve as the assistant general manager and arrives from Acme Feed & Seed.

Ray (pictured) has worked with charity programs such as the Napa Valley BBQ & Beer Battle, winning the title of best BBQ multiple years. Additionally, he has served as the host chef and competitor for the Nashville Cochon555 competition.

“Nashville was a natural choice for our next location,” said Brian Mazza, Paige Hospitality Group president. “We fell in love with the city’s vibrant community and budding food and beverage scene, seeing an opportunity to bring something new to the table in the form of The Ainsworth’s unique, elevated take on sports bar culture.”
