Nashville's restaurant explosion has kept booming in 2017. All kinds of new eateries offer everything from the fancy to fast casual. Here are 50 restaurants that have opened or will soon open in Nashville this year.

The Ainsworth

Upscale New York bar/restaurant The Ainsworth is headed to the $100 million-plus Aertson Midtown development. Menu specifics and prices for The Ainsworth Nashville aren't yet available, but a menu for a location in New York included a small plates section, gourmet burgers and Mexican-inspired dishes.

Caviar & Bananas

The urban market and cafe opened in June at 2031 Broadway. The space is part restaurant and part retail with an espresso/tea/wine bar, bakery, prepared and packaged foods, made-to-order salads and sandwiches, wine and craft beer, cheeses, gourmet gift baskets and a curated selection of groceries for the urban shopper. On the menus you’ll find foods ranging from healthy to indulgent, such as turmeric milk overnight oats ($6) or matcha chia pudding ($6) to a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich ($5.75) or smoked salmon bagel ($5.50).

Chef RJ Cooper opened Henley, billed as a "new modern American brasserie," as part of the Aertson Hotel/Kimpton property on the corner of 21st Avenue South and Broadway.
